inBed Organics: Inexpensive Locally-Made Organic Mattresses
While at The Green Living Show Vancouver this past weekend, I noticed inbed Organics and I just had to stop by and chat with them. I wasn't familiar with this company, though they are located on west 2nd ave in Vancouver. You may remember my post about Local Organic Futons So, to find another local company who carries organic mattresses/ futons was very exciting.
More exciting was how inexpensive their mattresses are, around $1800 for a Queen size natural latex mattress, which is cheaper than other local companies that I have found. They also make their mattress on location.
A few things inBed Organics carries is organic wool, cotton and latex pillows, organic cotton and wool mattress covers, bedsheets, organic duvet covers and wool comforters.
Their showroom is by appointment only, but will be able to buy online (shortly it says). I like that their site products are also organized by material and by mattress size, so is easier to find what I'm looking for.
The Green Living Show Vancouver
Just got back from the Green Living Show at BC Place. I ended up going for the last 2 hours of the day, which I'm actually really glad I did end up going so late in the day, when most of the people had already left; gave me more of a chance to chat with the people at their booths.
I first stopped off at: bamboostyle.com
Complete with an adorable cartoon bamboo. They offer a variety of bamboo products such as towels, yoga and baby wear as well as candles and other products. I picked up two really awesome soft bamboo tank tops from a $12 discount bin. Looks like they are in the process of setting up online shopping, but isn't quite up yet.
