You are welcome Cindy. It is my hope that we here at scibeslice can find some recognition and benefit for all of our hard work. These are just a few of the opportunities that I have found and I am still combing through the internet looking for more.

Deb: I don't want to sound like a wet blanket but I've found a lot of the "submission" sites to be gimmicks. One required a $35 entry fee (not one you recommended) and for your entry you receive a copy of the finished anthology book. I would advise caution.

Deborah, i agree with Don.

on the last two, now defunct, writing sites i was on both required a payment of $35.00 0r more before your writing was even considered.

i did it for my first two poems but never after..it was costing more money than i could let go and all i recieved in return was a badly formatted book with my poems squeezed into a small space on a page...it was this way since the site could make the required from each "accepted" submitter...think about it 15 to 20 poems a page at $35.00 per and 100 pages a book that was a lot of money for the site.

again, i echo Don's warning.

There are no submission fees for any of the above mentioned sites and I have done some research on them. They all seem to be legit.
