Christmas Cheer
Walking in the cold, cold, snow
Icicle on her nose
Lonely, lost, forgotten, she
No one really cares
Christmas time, a time of cheer
She hears the parties rage
Yet in her lonely room she sits
The tear drops crystallise
A speck she is in life’s long scope
Yet millions like her are
Lonely people left alone
No one really cares
A time for families they say
A time to all unite
In words it sound so wonderful
But in reality it is not
All around the world this day, Christmas, Jesus birth!
People isolated live, alone, afraid, unloved
When Jesus looks on us below
The tears run down His eyes
We wonder whence the rain storms come
Well this explains just some
Christmas is a time of love
When Love came down to earth
So lets us seek the lonely hearts
And give them Christmas cheer.
