soul mates

This one is more romantic. It's the last one I did being strict to the rhythm.

Have you ever felt bemusement
When she looks in on your dreams?
Feel the smell of flowers growing
And your fouls her scent redeems.

Through the paths of dreams that we’ve been
Building castles by the shore,
Footprints mixed with tears and laughter
Blurred sand, filled gaps, just one core.

Dusty roads that led me to you,
For so long I’ve been desired.
Rusty leaves now dancing ‘round us
Autumns’ trick and me – your squire –

Now I warm your hand with my own
In this wintry, strong wind flow.
And I promise, here and henceforth:
“Whither thou goest, I will go"
