soul mates

Humanity, that is, we, and our actions. A little bit of saving-the-world-engagement poetry.

Heat up the world
And watch it burning to dust,
Forget about all your principles
While yielding to lust,

Being as cruel as darkness
Searching the way without guide,
Being as rare as a tale
Searching the words without light,

Drowning in the trash thou spread,
Afraid of the furious sea,
Cautious on every threat
The obvious menace, thee.

But don’t you feel guilty this evening,
Amuse me with all your sweet lies,
Because we are cursed, if fired,
And we are all sacred, if iced.
