She had a friend.

Valentines Day fail?

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I look at the name and roll my eyes. Are you serious? The one day I didnt want this person to text me, they do. This guy thinks he still has a chance... no way Jose.

The message says: Go outside, there's someone waiting for you with a gift.

I stomp my way out to the door; literally dragging myself out the door just to see a young man sitting at my doorstep.

"What are you doing here?" I tell him.

He reaches out and hands me my flowers, which by the way are my favorite ones- white daises. Along with that some expensive chocolates. He looks at me and smiles,"I just wanted to show you that I care for you."

"Thank you but you really didnt have to drive this far just to give these to me... but it was very nice of you."

He gives me a hug and walks back to his car.
I shut the door behind me, walk through the hallway that leads to the kitchen, throw the flowers in the garbage, grab the chocolates and share them with my lover inside.
