For Charlie

Just a little take on the things we miss in our daily product and often commercial filled days.

Happy meals to t-shirts
Cars to weight loss fads
Does no one see it?
Does anyone actually look?
It’s clear as day
But yet we let it in
Into the back of our heads
Where it builds and builds
Then leaks into our daily routine
We act on ‘their’ intent
Driven blindly by an invisible force
While they profit,
We stupefy ourselves
Slowly debasing that which makes us, us
We are remade
Into a less aware
Numb species
Slowly degrading our very design
To what end?
‘Their’ profits
Our mindless obedience
