soul mates

Cold, cold, just freezing cold,
The pain of loss is hard to bear
And all I want is to be hold,
To feel warmth and love and care

Oh, how long have I tried
To kill the love inside my soul,
But I have broken my heart
And it will never again be whole.

I have tried to love another
But I just couldn't do it too,
Every night over and over
My dreams reminded me of you.

I've been keeping our friendship
Like a precious stone at any cost.
And I thought that I'll be happy
With only friendship that I've lost.

But I was wrong as never
And I'll answer for it with pain.
My heart is shut forever
And I won't meet love ever again...
